Statement of Faith & Community Commitment

The Garden Project is unwavering in our commitment to Scripture and God's design. While our service and outreach are indiscriminate, our members are exclusively Biblical Christians.

Our Community Covenant

Our focus in the Project isn't to build a congregation or re-create a Sunday church service. We aim to focus on our mission as believers, which means prioritizing community over personal desires. Every member is a representative of our Project and therefore must adhere to our community covenant.

Lifestyle Commitment: I commit to a lifestyle that aligns with biblical principles, striving to turn away from habitual sin both during Project events and in my personal life. I understand this includes refraining from practices such as profane language, cohabitation outside of marriage, illicit drug use, illegal activities, and sexual immorality. I acknowledge that The Garden Project welcomes those who have repented from sinful lives and offers prayer and support for those struggling, and that those who do not wish to adhere to this commitment are welcome to support the ministry through donation.

Conflict Resolution: I agree to bring any unresolved issues with other members directly to my regional or national leadership team, following the principles of Matthew 18. I accept that text messaging or direct messaging isn't appropriate for conflict resolution and commit to speaking on the phone with whoever has caused the conflict and/or the leadership team.

Background Check Consent: I consent to a background check, understanding it is required to ensure the safety of all members, including children and families, during Project events and activities.

Active Participation: If I choose to be an active member, I commit to regularly participating in the life, fellowship, and service activities of my local Garden Project community

Conflicting Ideology

The Garden Project avoids and rejects ideology that has historically divided, confused, and deterred the body of Christ. Our purpose is to foster community through accurate Scriptural knowledge and application. As such, we don't offer membership to those who believe or follow Hebrew Israelite ideology, OSAS (once saved, always saved), and mandatory water baptisms/speaking in tongues as evidence of the Holy Spirit.
